I got following message from Alessandro who has recently joined our club (you may remember the nice story of his 96 in our Saabisti-magazine)

Can anybody answer the questions below? Replies in english please so I can forward this web discussion to him.

I'd like to know if spare parts are availaible for the 96 v4..
are both master/slave clutch cylinder availaible for a '69 96 v4?
I'd also like to know if both master/slave clutch cylinder repair kits are availaible.

so if you mean with repairkit a sealkit(gaskets) for master- and slave- cylinders at least for mastercylinder is available and costs less than 5 Euros. Slavecylinders sealkits price and partnumber is also but they don't have it in any store aroud finland so the availability is a questionmark.

the rumours say that gasket repair kit for slave cylinder are still available in Turku in a place called Jarruosa (means "brake parts"). tel. +358 2236 2360. the price was something about 17€

This rumour is true. A friend of mine had called around many part shops to find the slave repair kit after the slave-sealings in his 96 had suddenly been screwed up completely and Jarruosa was the company that saved the day. I asked him to order one for me, too, just to have one in store if I might need it some day. The repair kit is a Lucas, thus it should be of pretty good quality.
