Moro,

I want to convert my LPT model to full pressure turbo.

What do I need exactly?

Does anyone have the stuff I need for sale in Oulu area?

You need an intercooler (optional but recommended), some sort of boost controller (just a MBC, or a bleeder will do, APC of course would be the best but most expensive choice) and a fuel chip is also strongly recommended (I have those, contact via PM).

Without an intercooler and knock detection I wouldn't use more than 0,7 bar boost and also remember to ALWAYS use only 98 RON or better fuel.

I'd like to stick to the 'original' saab parts.

I think my car came with intercooler. Is it the same one as on FPT model?

This was the best source I found so far on this topic:

So probably I'll need these:

APC box + wiring (connector at least)
Knock sensor
Pressure transducer
Overpressure switch
Solenoid valve
+ lots of small stuff (wires, pipes etc)

It does not seem to difficult to get these; but I am struggling with the language and I am also not sure which parts (serial numbers?) I exactly need. I saw some ads where APC was sold for ~50-100EUR

I just want to have the same stuff as 'original' FPTs have.

If it came with an IC, then it's the same that FPT cars have (assuming it's factory installed).

So yes, you'll need those things you've listed. The serial numbers can be hard to track down but EPC might help you.

I'm not sure whether the FPT model has a different fuel chip from the LPT in MY1991, but in M1990 they are different at least. Not sure if I have any FPT original software though..
