who can help me with a 3" full system?

Hi,

I own a ng900 1997 talladega with a 2.0L Turbo engine tuned @ stage 1 at the moment.

I would like to have a full 3" exhaust with only 1 rear mufler, so no catalytic converter, including the downpipe.

I have 2 options:
* search a brand that has 3" without a race or sport cat
* find a person who has done this before by him self and i pay him for material and his work.

When i have the yearly check i will put the original exhaust back to pass the test.

This picture is made on the last meeting in Tampere (mines with the hood open)


Here is the engine bay (im gonna change the place of the airfilter and make a nice air duct for it)

I think that price is quite good by the way, but how about quality?

I think they will understand english well enough if you call them, e-mail might be better though. I suppose they only have one "contact person" anyway.

The price is surprisingly good, and I don't really have anything bad to say about the quality. Installed the exact same system on my 9-3 a few weeks ago. Simple installation, quality seemed to be pretty good with machine-welded seams etc. The only problem was the rattling original aluminium exhaust heat shield at places, however mostly because some of its mounting points had corroded away.
In the end I ripped parts of the shield off and fixed the mounting points with large washers - no more rattling and I'm very happy with it now.

I think it took a little over a week for me and I had a big order with lots of other things as well as the exhaust. The stuff comes from Speedparts Sweden, so it depends on whether they are on summer vacation there etc. Anyway, Riku at PCS will probably know how long it'll take.

its cheaper to make 3" and it will give me more noise ( i think)

Less CO2 emissions, that's what everyone is concerned about these days, right?

Really though, the sport/race cats that come with those exhausts are very expensive, it's cheaper to find a good 3" race cat somewhere else and weld it there on your own. The stock converter is quite a restriction in the exhaust flow as well.

hmm called them but they say that they cannot make that.
only with the cat and total price will be around 1200 euro.

so no alt avgassystem under my car.

so far this PCS can provide me what i want for about 450 euro but they are first on holidays... and back on 18/8

Any faster solutions?
