Cambelt change 3.0V6 MY2000

Firstly apologies for only managing to write in English. A quick word of introduction perhaps? I currently live in Tampere and am buying my first Saab. I've spent what seems a lifetime getting my hands dirty on a variety of old cars, including MG's and Jags but I neither have the space nor the inclination to tackle this job. I'm actually importing the car from Japan and it should be with me next week. I'm guessing the belt has never been done (only 85000 km on the clock), but even if it has, I don't suppose the Japanese documentation will help. So I'm looking for a reliable company in Tampere with experience of these engines. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Hi Rofa, Welcome to the Saab Forum. There should be good garages also in Tampere to this. I presume the guys in there will give you a reply. I had my belt changed in Turku AD. The work is pretty much the same as for Opel V6. Wish you luck, cheers!

Thanks Peter. Do you recall how many hours labour was charged. There is a good video on YouTube - guy takes about 45 mins and I don't think it has been edited down much!
