Saab 9-5 Quality

Hello Guys,

I am hesitating to buy a Saab 9-5. Price is quite nice, but what I know is that quality is not really there..... Are these cars really as bad as their reputation?

How costly are the spare parts?

There is a 1998 SAAB 9-5 2.0 SE ECO which raised my interest. The car really gained umy attention, price is low (3KEUR) and it appears to be in OK/Good condition.. however the reviews I read on this topic really scares the sh*t out of me, is quality really that bad?

I would hesitate to buy early models. Of course, if the price is right there is a lot of car to drive. But fixing possible problems will also cost you a fortunate. If the history of the car is good, why not.
MY 2004 -> are very reliable cars, but that of course is if one can afford to buy one.
