Re: knocker noise from front wheel area when accelorator depress
Check the wheelbolts tension at first.

Re: knocker noise from front wheel area when accelorator depress
would the noise be there if its only depressing the gas pedal
i can not hear the knocking when pressing down on the pedal, only when i let go and im slowing down,it seems to be louder the slower im going

Re: knocker noise from front wheel area when accelorator depress
In theory when you depress gas pedal, the center of weight changes, and there is more weight going on front wheels. When you press break pedal there is even more weight going on front wheels.
So first of all, refit and retighten all bolts. Also, check if the alloy wheel is clean, just in case.
Of course it is possible that it is bearing, but normally it is noise, not knocking noice. You can check which wheel makes noise by turning harshly left and right your wheel when moving like 30km/h. When you turn this fast, one of the tyres is less heavy, and other more heavy (again center of mass), therefore you can hear sound to disapper and apper back depending which wheel is loaded more.
Hope my poor english is good enough to you.![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

Re: knocker noise from front wheel area when accelorator depress
I had same kind of problem with my ex-saab 9-5.
Problem was passenger side inner cv joint.
If you lift car up and roll the wheel, you can here the sound.
I bought used part there http://www.mantykorpi.fi/osahaku.php?&m ... 572&cid=34
