I've been having bad judder problems with my AP clutch (fitted about 3 years/50k miles ago) on my 9000. I'd been told that they tend to rough up the surface of the flywheel, so I booked it in to have the flywheel removed and skimmed to solve the problem.
Here's what was found:

The friction plate was down past it's rivets, the pressure plate was down to the rivets, and the flywheel was worn down by a good mm or so.
They were suprised it drove!
So, a word of warning- the AP may bite, but there is a price to pay. In fairness though, it is not recommended for everyday driving. If you want a performance clutch and intend to keep the car, it would seem like it may welll be worthwhile to invest in the more expensive Sachs option, although I haven't been able to confirm whether this is available for pre MY94 9000s
I've gone with another for now as it was the only option available off the shelf. Everything else that might have been possible was 2-3 weeks.
