Löytyipäs!
Renault-foorumilla on pohdittu samaa reilu vuosi sitten ja sieltä löytyi myös AKE:n vastaus aiheeseen:
"Hei,
Valojen asennus- ja kytkentävaatimukset löytyvät E-säännöstä nro 48, joka löytyy osoitteesta:
http://www.unece.org/trans/main/wp29/wp29regs.html (viimeisin kokonainen versio on
Reg. 48 - Rev.4) tämä on siis virallinen totuus.
Kysymääsi asiaa käsittelevät kyseisen E-säännön kohdat 5.11., 5.12. ja 6.19.7. Näissä kohdissa ei enää nykyisin (muistaakseni E48r3 versiosta eteenpäin) edellytetä muiden valojen kytkeytymistä huomiovalojen kanssa.
Terveisin,
Sami Peuranen /AKE"
Tämä on siis YK:n alaisen UNECE:n E-sääntö, joka pätee kaikissa Wienin tieliikennesopimuksen ratifioineissa maissa. EU-hyväksyntä merkitään pikku-e:llä
Vastaus kysymääsi lainkohtaan on siis seuraava:
Liikenne- ja viestintäministeriön asetus autojen ja perävaunujen rakenteesta ja varusteista 19.12.2002/1248 (Joka tosin on nykyään kokoelma viitteitä E- ja e- hyväksyntiin.)
Euroopan unionin alueella voimassaolevat määräykset löytyvät siis tuosta mainitusta E-säännöstä 48.

than 400 mm from the extreme outer edge of the vehicle.
The distance between the inner edges of the apparent surfaces in the direction of
the reference axes shall not be less than 600 mm.
This distance may be reduced to 400 mm where the overall width of the vehicle is less than 1,300 mm.

Kytkennästä kohdat 5.11 ja 5.12 sanovat seuraavaa:
5.11. The electrical connections must be such that the front and rear position lamps,
the end-outline marker lamps, if they exist, the side-marker lamps, if they exist,
and the rear registration plate lamp can only be switched on and off
simultaneously. This condition does not apply when using front and rear
position lamps, as well as side-marker lamps when combined or reciprocally
incorporated with said lamps, as parking lamps and when side-marker lamps are
permitted to flash.
5.12. The electrical connections must be such that the main-beam and dipped-beam
headlamps and the front fog lamps cannot be switched on unless the lamps
referred to in paragraph 5.11. are also switched on. This requirement shall not
apply, however, to main-beam or dipped-beam headlamps when their luminous
warnings consist of the intermittent lighting up at short intervals of the mainbeam
headlamp or the intermittent lighting up at short intervals of the dippedbeam
headlamp or the alternate lighting up at short intervals of the main-beam
and dipped beam headlamps.
