Hood release cable

Hi,
A few weeks ago, the hood on my 2005 SS wouldn't close after I refilled the windshield washer fluid. I used a screwdriver to slide the latches into place and thought no more about it.
This weekend, I needed to replace a headlight, and discovered the hood no longer opens.
After a lot of mucking about, I got it open and discovered the culprit is the second part of the hood release cable (after the connector box next to the battery). I think it's corroded. Lubricating has not done much, so I think it has to be replaced.

The part number appears to be 12793104

I have three questions:
- is this this right part number?
- Any suggestions for an address to get this locally? Price in e.g. Germany is about €50 plus shipping (ouch!).

Parts and numbers I suggest, that you ask e.g Länsiautos varaosamyyjä (Spare parts dep.). They are pretty quick to answer.

After that you can try to search used ones on AVK or varaosahaku.fi
If those have it from dismantled cars.
